For the second time this year, Portland hosted three different cruise ships at the same time today. The last time it happened was on Sept. 26. This season, Portland is expected to handle almost a hundred cruise ship visits. Next year’s schedule is already filling up, too.

Today’s ships were the 2,038-passenger Summit, the 684-passenger Regatta and the 382-passenger Silver Whisper.
Tomorrow, 2,394-passenger Norwegian Gem should hit town. Bug Light Park in South Portland is a good place to get a look at them.
